I thought I would never get to level 19 (18 is a definite block for a lot of people, all the quests end and you HAVE to do rep to get then started again. One check for every day I did the rep for that one blocker. I write down the names and locations of the rep blockers and put a check next to the name. I personally have a spare notebook in my room for anything really. Leveling is important for me right now because im very concentrated in my dressage and the faster I go, the easier I can keep up with all the level 22’s. Adding up the rep for that will get you quest lines and a lot farther than doing all of the 100+ random blue quests around the map. Focus only on the areas with the little reputation blockers (the yellow hearts). What I did to get from 18 to 19 quickly is: Look at your quest log. It wont take you long to level up, its super easy if you do reputation on the daily. I was about 8 or 9 when i started so i wasnt very adamant on leveling (explaining why i was stuck on so many levels for so long).
I feel as if players that played around 2014 or the start of sso had a harder time because they were barely making a story line and there wasnt much to do, all the horses were super old models and there werent many quests. I was on level 14 for about 2 years, then was stuck on 17 for another 2, and then I most recently became level 19 after grinding my reputation. Took two breaks (from July 2017-January 2019) and (June 2019 - December 2019). I started around 2013-2014 and im level 19 currently.
